Entrepreneurship Development Course

What is the Entrepreneurship Development Course?
The purpose of the Entrepreneurship Development Course is to help aspiring entrepreneurs choose and refine their business idea and hone their plan of action through a structured curriculum and peer support. The course teaches key business fundamentals, and reviews common mistakes made in the early stages of the entrepreneurship process. The course uses a combination of lecture and workshop formats to help clients apply theoretical concepts to their own businesses. Clients will come away from the course with a draft executive summary, and will have a feasible idea to begin planning their own business.

When and where is the next EDC?
The next English EDC will begin on April 2nd .

What topics does the course cover?
Topics include business feasibility and viability, market research and marketing strategies, product pricing, cash flow and financial projections. The course culminates with client presentations, in which clients showcase their ideas, practice their elevator pitches, and provide feedback on each other’s business ideas. Clients who complete the EDC often continue to work with Elmseed consultants or apply for a loan.
